Counsellor Position

We are seeking a Masters Level Counsellor or Registered Social Worker to join our growing team

This is an opportunity to join an established practice that values you and your uniqueness as a Counsellor.

Part-time hours: To fit your schedule, availability and the freedom to work remotely; 6-20 hours per week.

The position will begin part-time with the chance to grow into full-time hours.

About you:

  • A strong desire and motivation to build your clinical practice within a supportive environment that promotes ongoing personal and professional development.

  • An RCC, CCC, RTC or RSW with a clinical approach rooted in somatic, emotion-focused, trauma-informed and/or experiential modalities (AEDP, EFT, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy etc.).

  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience of providing trauma informed services

  • Registration or certification with an appropriate professional association or regulatory college operating in BC

  • Ethical compliance to a professional code of conduct

  • Able to provide proof of professional liability insurance and professional references familiar with your clinical work

  • Must have access to secure, reliable video conferencing

  • Dedicated to continued professional development

  • A willingness to engage in promotional activities

  • Committed to set weekly availability to ensure clients ability to book regularly with you
